The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, Manhattan’s only multi-tiered, year-round outdoor driving range, offers the unique opportunity to hit full shots, practice putting and take lessons from top golf professionals. The Golf Club is open to the public, though memberships are available. Located on a scenic Hudson River pier, this four-tiered “super-range” features:

• 52 heated and weather protected hitting stalls on four levels
• An automatic ball tee-up system
• A 200-yard, net enclosed artificial turf fairway
• Two Full Swing Simulators
• A 200-square-foot Golf Academy teaching facility
• A 1,200-sqaure-foot putting green
• An indoor putting studio and sand bunker
• Two private event and party rooms: The Ryder Cup Room and The Players Room
• A membership program, including members-only locker rooms

driving range

No buckets of golf balls here! The Golf Club’s driving range uses an automatic ball tee-up system. Purchase a ball card, insert into your hitting stall’s card reader and golf balls will begin to tee-up. Receive 5% added value with a $30 ball card, 10% with a $50 ball card, and 15% with a $100 ball card.

Golf Range Hours of Operation:

• March through September, 6:30am – 12:00am
• October through April, 6:30am – 11:00pm

The Driving Range target greens and our Putting Green, located just outside the entrance to the Golf Club are both furnished by MetroGrass, which is powered by FieldTurf. For more information on MetroGrass, click here.

academy

The Golf Academy at Chelsea Piers, in New York City offers a high-tech, 2,000-square-foot indoor training center. It features a variety of schools and private/semi-private instruction for novice and accomplished golfers, as well as Junior Programming for children ages 4 – 16 years and a competitive Golf League for adults. The state-of-the-art Academy features hitting stalls, a practice sand bunker, an indoor putting green and chipping area, state-of-the-art digital swing analysis computers, K-Vest computer analysis, Tomi Putting system and Two Full Swing simulators. The Golf Academy also boasts 12 teaching professionals, including PGA and LPGA certified instructors, who offer a wide array of talents and personalities, giving each golfer the opportunity to find a unique match for his or her learning style and pace. Instructors work with golfers of all levels to improve techniques, strategy and build confident mental attitudes.

With its riverside views and country club setting, the Golf Club is a unique location for events of all kinds. The Golf Club offers a range of interesting and fun event formats and programs to fit a variety of client needs.
