The Tribeca Film Festival returns and this quintessential New York event is bursting at the seams with great flicks! Did you know that the Chelsea neighborhood has a special place in American film history?  The Famous Players Film Company Studios on West 26th Street in Chelsea was the most important of the many silent film studios located in Chelsea in 1915? Founded in 1912, it quickly attracted stars like Mary Pickford and John Barrymore.

The Sports Center salutes the Tribeca Film Festival for its dedication to the art of film.  Show you support by catching one of these great flicks! Bring your ticket stub to the Sports Center for a complimentary Day Pass (a $50 value!)

Lauren Glassberg, ABC Eyewitness News Correspondent, recently joined us for a Level 1 Tri Training workout at the Sports Center. Lauren learned to adjust her bike pedal position and cadence, worked on her running technique and even learned some pointers on how to get on the podium at a race. Sports Center members Joe Hornstein and Stacie Kennedy are also featured in the segment. Click here to check out Level 1 on ABC!
